About the Artists: Renowned for her expressive style, Lavanya Ananth is from a new generation of bharathanatyam dancers. In Divine Rhythms, she dances the dance of nature itself, giving energy and power to the universe. Her items are unique and innovative not only for the dynamic and creative choreographies, but also the freshness, sincerity and professionalism with which she presents her art. Lavanya is the recipient of Sangeet Natak Academy's Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Kala Puraskar, Yuva Kala Bharati and Nadanamamani to name a few. She is accompanied by virtuoso musicians Murali Parthasarathy on vocals, M.S.Sukhi on Mridangam, Kalaiarasan on the vioin and Neela Srinivasan on the nattuvangam.
