SAPAF In the Community

The South Asian Performing Arts Foundation is proud of our dedication to education and accessibility for South Asian culture. Since we began in 2006, we have always considered teaching just as important as performing, which is why so many of our events involved workshops where the public can learn more about South Asian performance art firsthand! At our outreach events and workshops, highly skilled teachers give you first-hand knowledge of South Asian dance and musical techniques, allowing you to join in an artistic tradition with thousands of years of history. If you are familiar with the artistic traditions of South Asia, then you can come to our events to refamiliarize and immerse yourself. If you are unfamiliar with our cultural heritage, then there’s nowhere better to come and learn!
